FAQ's

DOES ELEMENT REQUIRE SERVICE & DOES IT EXPIRE?

Element's solid construction, no moving parts, and lack of compressed gas (unlike a traditional fire extinguisher) means it will never need any service or upkeep. In addition the solid chemical that makes up the Element extinguisher has no effective expiration.

IS ELEMENT AFFECTED BY EXTREME WEATHER & CAN IT GET WET? CAN I STORE IT IN MY CAR?

Element has been tested to work effectively in temperatures from -58°F to +176°F (-50°C to + 80°C). Moreover Element's solid construction and no moving parts makes it unaffected by harsh environments or humidity. Element can safely be stored in damp and wet environments, provided that the yellow cap covering the tip stays present allowing the tip to remain dry.

Element can safely be stored in vehicles that live in hot climates.

WHERE IS ELEMENT MADE?

Element is designed and manufactured in Italy.

IS ELEMENT CERTIFIED?

Originating in Italy, Element has been certified by CE Europe, TUV, and the Italian maritime authority. Institutionally it has been tested and certified for use by multiple international military and police groups who have adopted it for active use.

DOES ELEMENT MAKE A MESS LIKE A TRADITIONAL EXTINGUISHER?

Element's discharge gas is totally clean and will not leave any residue. During discharge a chemical reaction does take place which occasionally expels a trace amount of soot from the casing. Even in the most extreme instance, the net total of discharge is so minuscule compared to a traditional extinguisher that it is effectively considered to be non-existent. Beyond the clean nature of the discharge Element is non-corrosive, non-toxic, and environmentally safe.

We ordered 2 E50 Elements for Father’s Day, they arrived quickly and nicely packaged. The extinguishers will be perfectly anchored with clip and hopefully when our Son is out on a Sunday cruz in there beautiful classic 58 Chevy with family they won’t have to ever use them. Since these don’t expire we can rest assure E50 will work as described if needed.

Excellent for classic cars

I have two in my restored MGB. One neatly mounted out of the way in the passenger footwell and the other in the trunk. Why two? They take up little space and provide just under two minutes of fire extinguishing capabilities combined. I hopefully will never have a fire, but can help someone else.

Excellent Concept, Clean Fire Suppression

The idea that we can deploy the E50's without having to clean up a bunch of fire-retardant powder is a wonderful idea and that is why we purchased four of these units, one for the kitchen, one for the garage, one for each vehicle. We moved the old powder-based fire extinguishers into the garage and attic where powder cleanup is not an issue. Thanks Element!! Dan n Mary

Products received look and feel very professional

Let’s hope the need is never known, but a layer of insurance that you have a chance to save your automobile is worth every penny. Maybe it’s not yours you have to save, but another motorists can be a game changer. The product looks and feels very high quality and the customer service is absolutely fantastic. I’ll be placing another order very soon once I install this purchase. Shout out to Robert for making my transaction 💯%

For My Super Decathlon Aircraft

Although they don't recommend for GA Aircraft (probably lawyers and insurance) I think it is superior to conventional extinguishers. Smaller and more powerful in case of emergency. I would rather deal with cockpit visibility than a fire! Great customer service and support.

Amazing!

I purchased my element almost 2 years ago and it’s been sitting in my truck. And today I helped a lady put out a fire in her house that very easily gotten out of control! It worked amazing!

Classic cars

Havnt used it and hopefully will not. I worry about a gasoline fire under the hood on my beauties, a typical fire extinguisher rolling around or having to drill mounting holes was just as distasteful. The magnetic clip holds these very well, peace of mind and no holes. Hope they work as well as they look.

Element Fire Extinguisher

I hope to never need it. However, it's mounted in my jeep ready to go in case of an emergency.

First Class Product

I hope I never have the chance to see just how good this fire extinguisher is on my hot rod, but judging by the quality of its looks and the fact that Hagerty endorses it, I feel secure in my purchase. Your website is clear and clean, giving easily understood instructions, the product looks and feels exactly as I expected, and ordering was easy with a quick delivery, even when I later decided to order the magnetic brackets as well. They secure the extinguisher easily on a steel bar just below my dash which puts it within easy reach if I ever need it quickly! Thank you, MB

I was shocked at how fast it did start extinguishing the fire.

I have been telling everyone about how amazing your fire extinguishers are. I love that they are light weight and fairly easy to use. I have had 4 surgeries on my shoulder and this extinguisher is the only way to go.

After 17.5 pounds of state-of-the-art fire suppression equipment, Element is what stopped the fire

We were racing King of the hammers 2024. I race with Greg Adler motorsports. My name is Brian Kirby I have a fabrication shop Designs By Kirby. We were on lap 1 of the king of the hammers, racing in the unlimited four wheel drive 4400 class. We were at race mile 56 and all of a sudden third gear like felt like it let go so we pull over on the side of the racecourse and then quickly realize that the race truck is on fire. The back of the car was fully engulfed, in this truck the motor is behind the driver and codriver along with a 40 gallon Fuel Cell. Once we saw the flames and smoke, I deployed a 10 pound SafeCraft fire suppression system. Then i killed the electrical power and got out of the car. I realize that that 10 pound fire suppression system released way too fast. The fire reignited quickly so i reached into the flames to get a 5 lb Safecraft fire extinguisher that we have externally in the rear , but it was actually in the flames. I had a fire suit and fire gloves on, I was able to get through the flames and used it slowly to try and knock it out. It slowed the fire down, but it still wouldn’t put it out so as soon as that fire extinguisher died, the flames just re lit because the tranny fluid was still dripping on super hot headers. We still had a 2.5 pound fire extinguisher in the cab so I had to go around the front jump through the window to get that extinguisher. I Deployed that extinguisher, I thought I had it out and then once again boom Fire restarted so I this point I’m 17.5 pounds of fire extinguisher and the fire is not out and I have a 40 gallon Fuel Cell with flames everywhere so I’m battling a clock because the Fuel Cell lights there’s nothing you can do. So I had 2 elemental fire extinguisher E50 on the front of the race truck so I grabbed one and activated it. I never lit one before, i put it up underneath close too where the fire was and the element fire extinguisher save the car! 17.5 pounds of normal state of the Art fire suppression equipment, and the element is what stoped the fire. The element E50 smoked for 50 plus seconds and it was able to get up under the heat shields and body panels, and it smothered the fire and it didn’t reignite. As far as I am concerned the element saved the race truck so I appreciate it. Your product definitely made a big difference. Thanks

Your extinguisher saved my tail

Your extinguisher saved my tail two days ago. I was driving my 1957 Chevy truck when I smelled smoke. Pulled over, lifted the hood and saw flames behind the block. I grabbed the Element and ingnited it within seconds, put the fire out. Fortunately, some trans oil had spilled onto the header heat wraps and caught fire. My truck will be fine and so will I. I'm a 58 year old woman! I simply can't thank you enough for making such a great, easy to use, life saving product. Our local firefighters had never heard of it. But they were stoked that I was able to help myself with such a great product. Any way, time to buy another. May God bless all of your with good health, happiness and prosperity.

Worked like a charm

I was driving behind an F150 on the freeway and watched the underside engulf in flames. I pulled up next to him and got him to pull off the freeway. That’s when we both got out and put out the fire as he pulled ammunition out of his truck as he was law enforcement. His extinguisher wasn’t working sadly but thankfully the element extinguisher did!

Amazing Product!

I truly believe that without having your product on hand, I’d be replacing much more than just some wiring. It was so easy to use. I struck it only twice before it set off and it had way more power for a longer duration than what I remember a standard vehicle sized extinguisher having. Your company truly has an amazing product!

What's that funny smell?

Hmm what’s that funny smell, can’t be the Hummer in front of me because he just pulled off. Oh wait, that’s a plastic smell. It’s smoke coming from under the dash. Killed power, pull off and after I saw molten plastic on fire hit the metal floor mat protector, I did the Hail-Mary and broke out the Element Fire Extinguisher.Looks like fuse 19 for the fan circuit didn’t pop but rather melted down. Corrado life, but it will drive another day I’d venture to say the fuse box was close to a major fire before I hit it with the Element Fire Extinguisher.

Incredible product!

Had the starter replaced in my Porsche 997S. Drove 20 miles home and put it in the shop, Shortly after I heard strange noises from the shop and discovered my car trying to start itself and smoke from the engine bay! I popped the lid and there it was...fire. My Porsche was on fire. Way in the back, since the starter is on the back of the motor. I had decided to get an Element fire extinguisher because I didn't want to drill holes in this car and there is little storage space. I grabbed it out of the door pocket, struck it up, pointed it into the fire and it went "poof" - gone, I mean immediately out. This thing works.Period. Mechanic and I were both shocked, there was no residue from the extinguisher. Apparently that is a huge issue with engine fire. You have to deal with anything scorched and extinguisher residue in every nook and cranny. You cannot even tell I had a fire much less see sticky powder anywhere. I have them in every car and one in the house now. Incredible product!

Truly a life saver!

This time the flames shot up quickly. The canister did nothing to combat the uproar of the fire. Striking the element and pointing it towards the source of the flames, now fueled by some fuel that had leaked from the accident, quickly brought the flames under control, a few bottles of water extinguished some embers and brush that were still glowing. Our Element extinguishers saved us twice in one day. Your product is truly a life saver.

Thank God for Element Fire Extinguishers

Some days are worse than others. A simple welding job turned into double wall sealed insulation catching on fire and nearly burning my Jeep down.Thank God for Element fire extinguishers... they do work! Using a regular ABC extinguisher, and was realizing it wasn’t working, so I grabbed the Element
